I’ll admit that this isn’t the prettiest plate of meals…however, god it was wonderful! Tacky Meatball Traybake. Smokey meatballs, onions, pepper, passata, rice and cheese….and hardly any dishes! I used to be going to save lots of this recipe for one thing I’m engaged on, however I’m too impatient 🙈Right here’s the recipe, don’t neglect to tag me for those who give it a attempt! Xx
-Warmth the oven to 200C
-Reduce an onion and a purple pepper into slithers and a courgette into chunks.
-Place the veg in a deep roasting tin and sprinkle with 2 tsp of Paprika, a tbls of honey and a drizzle of olive oil. Use your palms to make sure that it’s all coated.
-Subsequent make the meat balls: in a mixing bowl, mix, 500g beef mince, 100g contemporary breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 1tsp Paprika, salt and pepper. Use your palms till the components are evenly unfold.
-Make 20-25 walnut sized meatballs, roll every one within the palms of your hand, earlier than putting them between the veg.
-Roast the veg and meatballs within the oven for 20 minutes, turning often.
-Take away from the oven, stir in 2 x 500g tubs of passata, 2 packets of microwave rice (no must microwave first) break up the rice with a picket spoon till separated, and season.
-As soon as the components are evenly unfold, sprinkle with 100-150g of cheese (relying on the scale of the tray) and bake for an additional 40 minutes.
