Makes sufficient for four folks
.
1 kg potatoes
three tbsp oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp crushed peppercorns
1 tsp crushed sea salt
1 tsp chinese language 5 spice
.
– Reduce the potatoes into wedges, (pores and skin on) so they’re all equal in measurement. Place in a saucepan.
– Cowl the potatoes in chilly, salted water and convey to the boil. When the water has began to bubble, place the lid on the pan and simmer for five minutes or till simply getting tender.
-Warmth the oven to 200C
-Drain the potatoes. Lay them on a baking tray and permit them to steam dry.
-Combine the oil, soy sauce, pepper, salt and Chinese language 5 spice collectively in a cup.
– Pour the sauce over the wedges. Use a pastry brush, till they’re all totally coated within the spicy oil.
